Just machined and pressed.

Few well thought over blows with cupper hammer and Teun v D. can kick it again.

The thoughts on where to hit, were the most difficult.
:p

I love to do this kind of work.
Thinking to quit my job

I have used those magnetic drills for drilling safe doors with hardened plates, fitted to protect the lock mechanism, bit like a pillar drill but attached to metal with a bloody strong magnet, they were fine for reasonably small diameter drills, I don’t know the size that is used for drilling RSJs, but I cannot see how you will get the accuracy you will need for a crank pin, I appreciate that you might be able to ream the hole to an accurate diameter (perhaps) but no matter how accurate the diameter of the hole, no good if the hole is in the wrong place to start with.

Vincent, Marcus is right, those pictures won’t open up, not on apple products anyway.

I don't think it matters if the hole is out a bit, Just that it is round.
The metric size I will use is under an inch, So the last few thou, I hope to get out with an adjustable reamer,
I am thinking there must be a bit of runout, As long as it's not too much, I might get away with it.
The machine and it's bearings seem robust ?.

I took the flywheels to our machine center and milled them round, exactly to sise.
And made the mating surface in the same clamping perpendiculair to both bores.

Not a to difficult operation with a good machine.
And on the axles and pin i did a 3 degree ease and polished that.
As the beginning of the bore.

And furthermore a true perpendicular press was used.

Sorry it wont open, its just an MP4 video.
Now its strange an Apple cant work that.
Or shall i work on the apple a bit, so it will open perpendicular:p
