Hi,

I am looking for any information on the Bold Shock for the seat stay. I am also looking for one if someone wants to let one go.

Any information on the person who manufactured them or where they were manufactured. I recall someone mentioning that they may have been made by Gene Aucott.

Edit, maybe not, Albert got started in the early '80's and Gene had those units earlier than that. Maybe Somer or Davidd would know for sure.

I know Gene had an MV in later life so its a good lead. I sent them an email, so lets hope to hear back from the owner of the company.

I must say I rather like this mod it needs a careful balance of spring and hydraulics and a nice friction free lower mount and with modern seals I am sure it could be slimmer (and may even exist as a hatch back unit?) when the next pile of unrelated Vincent parts creeps onto my bench I may investigate further

It's a mod that works better for 2 up riding, solo it does very little.
