I also recall that , it just fed the cam lobes . It might have been Herve Hamon who was visiting us around that time with Catherine on his Comet . Sid .

Yes, I opened up the catch bevel as well. Also, cam spindles should be fitted with the feed holes pointed at the large idler spindle not straight up as shown in the book. Naturally this delivers oil to the more open
non loaded portion of the cam bush.
