Misc: Electrical (General) Miller 8 inch headlamp lens glass

Get a Lucas replica lamp , keep the glass and dump the rest - or so. Got a Miller replica with curved glass which I don´t want. Looking for a flat type, frosted.

Looking at some photos of Series B bikes, I see two varieties of the 8" domed fluted headlamp lens (not the Lucas version with the vertical oval section). One has 13 flutes, the other 16. Which is the correct Miller pattern?

It does seem these could be reproduced - perhaps VOC Spares can rise to the occasion?

I just used normal reeded glass from the glaziers.

Maybe a good match for Series A bikes - but I think postwar machines used domed lenses.

I have 3 eight inch Miller galsses. They all seem to have 12 flutes.

This one is NOS purchased from Somer Hooker many years ago, for an exorbitant sum.

Spare for if/when bike decides to hit something head on and so whoever buys the parts will at least have a headlamp to put on.
