Can someone tell me what the speedometer number is for a 1948 B Rapide or where I might find the information? Please and thank you.

Speedometer S.433/3/L for the Chronometric 120 MPH dial and gearing.

Trip Knob, Chrome bezel, black dial and internal lighting

From the Smiths Equipment Schedule for a Vincent twin 1000 cc Rapide 1945-1948.

Trip knob on the side not underneath I believe..John

Yes, the Trip Knob is on the side for that model.
I had a very sorry looking one fully refurbished by Russ in the UK <info@chronometrics.co.uk>. He did a fantastic job and it looks like new.
