G: Gearbox (Twin) Gearlever Adjustment

Can someone explain how to adjust the gearchange Mimik withe the excenter G 57 and the plate g 61? On my gearbox the third gear will not jump in exactli when i shift from fourth down to third. regards Erik

Rider's Handbook, page 40. If that doesn't work check your camplate spindle for starters. After that it gets messier and more expensive. I trust locating washer G19 is where it should be.

Erik, just been through that exercise and required a lot of new parts due to wear and tear. The bike would not select 3rd gear. Upon re-adjustment I could select 3rd gear but not get out of 3rd gear. A bit scary on the road. IF going through the timing exercise as outlined in the handbook does not work then probably the eccentric, ratchet and spring need renewing.Good luck.

I solved the Problem! the difficulty was shifting down from gear 4 to gear 3. I bendet the left ear of G61 this way that the gap between the two ears is 2mm wider.And that`s it.Regards Erik

And for better Access i changed the screw in G61 for an allen screw.
