This was a mod recommended by Phil Irving in one of his books. In the past I have had the original pattern manufactured and supplied them to the Spares Co. I have asked around whether there is a demand for the improved design as I could get these made as easily as the originals. The problem is that the mating part, which is part of G59AS also has to be modified so it is not a one component change.
You`ll find the drawing on page 144 of Gordon Colquhouns` book `Brands Hatch and Beyond` a sketch drawn for him by Phil at Long Marston in 1958.
You should have used an angle grinder with a cutting disc to take most of the metal off, then finished with the grindstones.Well that was a very boring way to send 3 afternoons and a packet or two of grind stones Oh and purchase of a new Dremel
