Just had a fascinating half hour reading the forum posts on C3, C20, C13 etc. Very informative. One thing not really mentioned is the lubrication of PD 24. PD22 has to be oilite but I want to make undersize new PD24 and 22 to bore true in the chainwheel. Getting oilite big enough for a PD24 seems to be an issue, I have some alloy bronze but that needs lube, the question is - does enough oil reach PD24 to let me use the ally bronze ?
By the way, I do realise there is a seal in between, PD24 will be carefully pulled out ,once bored, to fit the seal.
