E: Engine Oil catch can for a breather on a single?

I have a breather hose coming off my inlet valve cover. It's connected to a one-way valve and the hose terminates in the vicinity of the rear wheel. It does pass a bit of frothy oil out the end. Rather than run the hose beyond the rear fender so the oil doesn't foul my rear wheel, is anyone running a catch can/oil separator? If so, is there a consensus regarding whether a simple container will suffice or some sort of separator with an inlet and outlet is preferred?

Thanks,

I use a Car oil separator, Old Hillman from the 70 s,
On the exhaust cover with just a short outlet = 4 inches ,
Tiny bit of mist comes out.
Some don't like the looks, But works for me.

either you have the wrong PCV valve or a worn motor
the Goodwood racer has to have a 500cc catch tank after a season it held just a spoonful of oil

In the past I used this oil separator on the Comet for many years.
Bought it used by/from Hartmut Weidelich in Germany, installed it with help of Big Sid and sold it a few years ago to a member in Spain.
The 'new' big bore engine didn't need it...
