Greetings All,
Peering through the inspection/fill hole on the Burman gearbox on my '50 B Meteor, I wonder how much lube is enough.
As we all know, there's no "level plug" or even a drain plug. When I look in with a strong light, I can see the lube covering half of the kickstart quadrant so the level is apparently at least up to where the kickstart shaft is. Is that enough? BTW, I've been using the Penrite semi-fluid grease.
Any advice/comments welcome!
