Hi,Hi all would someone be able to give advise on assembling girdraulic forks for a solo my Dad is trying to put them back together but his memory is slipping a little and he is unsure how the trail adjuster should be set up any advise would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance regards Paul.
The insides are basically the same as the 3" Smiths Chronometric, one of the Aus members should put you straight.I'm guessing a Richardsons is a book or how to manual and where would I be able to purchase a bullet tool and how much would I expect to pay and does anyone know where to get a 6 inch speedo recoed in Australia possibly Melbourne
An easier way to assemble the eccentrics is by using a short bit of 9/16" round bar in each side. Counter bore one bit to accept the thread on the spindle, assemble the eccentrics on the bits of bar, offer the link up to the column, locate by pushing the bits of bar in a little and put the thread of the spindle in the hole in the bar and push through. this method is a lot easier than using a bullet. You could try Ringwood Speedometer Service, on Maroondah Hwy. (Whitehorse Rd.) near North-West corner of Heatherdale Road.I'm guessing a Richardsons is a book or how to manual and where would I be able to purchase a bullet tool and how much would I expect to pay and does anyone know where to get a 6 inch speedo recoed in Australia possibly Melbourne
