see forty years on page 299 item131 from mph 436 by dave hills for a drawing , and instructions of how to re flange an exhaust pipe.

An alternative is to cut a 1/8" length of thick wall tubing that push fits over the pipe and run a bead of weld round the end. Cheers, Stu.

Languishing in the back of the shed I have an exhaust that came in 3 sections. Front and rear down pipes and bottom pipe with "Y". I'm fairly certain this came from Ron Kemp with both down pipes ready flared. Wouldn't this be another way of cracking the nut problem?

I don't think that would look as nice ?, + There is a lot of strength with the standard setup, Not likely to fall off.
