Tim, Didn't you find the Koni a bit hard on the Girdraulic fork, even if you sourced the correct Koni front shock, 76F-1239, I think back in the day the best way to go was Series D Armstrong with longer eye bolts, Thornton is/was great, sadly no longer available, but luckily we have AVO that seems infinitely adjustable in manufacture if you know what to specify.

Godet makes new dampers front and rear for their Vincent framed models.

I do not know if they have a policy about supplying them to customers as parts.

Actually loking at the first post it looks like you have some variation of the recirculating mod as that hole in the side is mot standard if indeed you have a valve inside the stem that would explain the o ring in the piston the 'valve' may simply be the hole size or it could be a spring loaded ball for one way damping as I had

What a shame that none of the original damper parts are available. I wonder if the club holds the drawings for them and would make them available?

There seems a lot of old ones coming up on Ebay , If you want to play ?,
The seals Paul tells us to use, I think you could get from any Bearing supplier ?,
It's the shaft that wears a lot ?.
