With numerous Vincents coming up for auction soon, and several for sale, it seems a good time to remind everyone, that if you are thinking of buying a Vincent motorcycle, or just an engine or frame, it is essential, before you buy it, to get them checked, for free, with Simon Dinsdale or myself, to make sure they are what they are claimed to be. Not everything that glistens, is gold, and be warned, they are out there.
It is important to email us images of each component that you are looking to buy i.e. engine number, one showing both crankcase mating numbers, the upper & rear frame numbers. They need to be close, clear and legible and if you are going to repaint them please take a photo before you paint them.
