Avon tires

Hello,
I heard that Avon would stop the production of Speedmaster 20 x 3.00 tires for our Vincent front wheel.
Is this information accurate ?

they are closing Avon factory by end of year, it all depends on Goodyear and their marketing decisions and that in turn depends on the orders they get from big customers for classic tyres (like central wheels) in short, who knows?

This is from the Goodyear website dated March 30th. Sounds promising for vintage tires but no mention of race tires.

You'll like a 21" front tire a lot better than the 20". It'll handle better and sure as fire look a helluva
lot better than that big gap the 20" allows between the mudguard and tire.
