Can anyone shed any light on these seats stays?

The First importer of Vincents into USA Gene Aucort or something like that special castings made up too.
I think Gene Nehring in NZ either had some from Gene Aucott or made some, but yes Gene Aucott was the the man.

I don't remember the Gene Aucott ones mounting off angle from the seat brackets.
I made mine using a pair of maintain bike air shocker units. then we made up some custom billet lower brackets to attatch to the RFM lugs to make it look more factory........they don't work so well solo, but 2 up they work perfectly........take all the jarring impact through your spine away mostly for the pillion rider.
This is a picture of Eugene's bike showing an Aucott shock.
As the guys here mentioned I have the Aucott shocks on mine with springs that I had made as the originals did not have the nicest flat faces on them.
The ones shown appear to slide up and down on the pivot off centre. They appear different to the Aucott shocks. Wonder where or who made these ones?
