Pretty entertaining that he just eyeballed the shape of the crankshaft counterweights so it 'looks about right' and it turned out decent.

I also feel inadequate. The amount of time and thought must have been enormous. Would I want it? NO. Do I wish I had those skills. YES
You own a Vincent? then you have those skills but not applied them as Mister Millyard has. I am just simple provisional with no real tool kit no engineering qualifications yet I can take any brit bike apart and get it running and the only limiting thing I do not own a lathe milling machine and money and this does not stop me doing any thing plus there is always utube if you get stuck for ideas.

I find "You tube" a very poor way to gather information compared to documents books and the vast archive here, the written word can be reread so many times easily all in all much simpler and you miss those interminable dam adverts ...ugh!
You tube is OK for Vintage Rock & Roll when relaxing:) good ol Check Berry!
