Hi
I’m changing the Alton sprocket for the original steel one on my Rapide C but finding it difficult to line up the three components.
I managed it ok when fitting it originally but finding it a bit fiddly this time.
Just wondering if there’s a method to make it easier.
The Alton sprocket has worn hence the change.
Any help appreciated.

I modified a 5mm (I think) bolt to make a short stud to screw into the hub. At 12 o’clock or so, it helped line up the slinger and sprocket.

Thanks.
Yes. Not a problem with the Miller dynamo as the slinger locates easily.
It’s just loose on the Alton so difficult to hold in place before the sprocket goes on.
I’ll try and make up something as there’s a central thread.

I then put the long end of the wrenches into the holes on the drive adaptor..slide the bits towards to adaptor
Thanks.
I can only fit one item in at a time. Not sure if the drive adaptor is the large alloy turned washer that goes on last or the rotating end of the dynamo inside.

I couldn’t figure out the Allen wrench idea but two 35mm long 1/8” steel rods works great. Short enough to be able to slot over the sprocket in the housing and long enough to take out once the three parts are on.
