Does anyone have any experience with this conversion and how it compares to the standard bramptons with the spring and friction discs. I have heard that the ride is not that good?

There is a lot about this on this Forum (a lot by me)
I have a coil over from USA the forks have been on a twin and raced and now on my Comet
it has some trick plates so I can keep the coil spring anchor in case any rivet counter who doesn't ride wants to but back the original spring
better than Girdraulics until the fork tubes rust through (around 2090)
I will have to change when I go for disc brakes

Hi Vibrac, yes I saw your conversion on the forum.

The one I was talking about was a popular conversion done in the 1960's where additional brackets were welded on and a small enclosed spring damper was fitted

Unfortunately Rob Staley has left the Vincent fold, I am not certain that he is involved with AVO any longer, but it might be worth checking with his section, I believe it was Coventry.
