would be nice to see the other side , Specs?? Ignition ? Great looking Machine a real credit to David

David has done a nice job with the bike. He did several mods this year that I had used on my bike to lighten the load. If you use the Boyer Bransden crank-fired ignition and an AntiGravity battery there are several Lbs to be saved. The bike's weight is down to 263 lbs.

The engine is making 39 BHP with a Megacycle Mk2 cam and a Gold Star megaphone.

I like the catch pan (photo below) to cover more areas where oil could pour out. This is to keep it off the rear wheel as well as the track. I also like the QD aspect.

However, Dave's pan works well in the rain. I did not run in the rain, but Dave is excellent in the rain.

You guys got me wondering about the capacity of the catch pan so when she was on the lift for her post race oil change and inspection I checked on how much it holds, two quarts, which is what I run for racing. Bill, it is alloy, .050”, the nose was my welders doing, at first I was a bit hesitant about its shape but it’s grown on me, not sure if it a help or a hindrance when it comes to streamlining. The breather can is made the same way, slides right into the generator hole for locating.

I follow Moto GP !, Is a Wing allowed in Vintage Racing ?,
Only Joking,
Looks Nice, As though it was made at the factory like it,
As Peashooter thought.
I thought you may have an ign' coil in there.
If I could weld alloy sheet like that, No sheet would be safe :D ,
I make a lot out of 1/4" alloy, Front stand brackets, Headlight brackets, Twin gear indicator,
Twin rear engine brackets etc, With a buffing wheel, Stuff looks new and lighter !.

They have that shape on some drag bikes .

David, Your Winning !, So it must work, And you say you like it.
I built a fi glass seat unit, And you could feel the hump kick in above 100mph,
Made it very steady.

Yes Herman, But too many years ago !,
I have changed the look of the Bike many times,
Some people thought I had many Bikes ,
But it was the same one !, And still got it, This is what it looks like now,
Was a "D", Now a "C", Don't ask :D
The VOC had 2 meetings there every year, My first and most liked track,
I wasn't very good,
Got a bit better when I built the L/ning rep', Another Bike !,
But just because I raced more, Classic Club and Vintage club and our meetings, Which included,
Curborough Twisty Sprint, Once a year.
Good Times, Hope you can do some meetings, Not so easy now I think.
Cheers Bill.
