First of all the ASLAlternative Spares List) has the seat bolt and spring bolt arse about. Yet another error. My problem is that both spring bolt sleeves fit nicely BUT if I try to fit the spring bolt/stud it does not go through both. Obviously an alignment problem but how best to fix it?? I could reduce the OD of the sleeves to allow a movement so the stud passes through. That is a relatively easy fix. BUT can I use a fair bit of force to try and straighten the lug(s)? Then again, how did this mis-alignment occur? It is imperative the sleeves are free to rotate but only through a few degrees. Input most welcome. Thank you.

Morning, It does not take too much force to straighten the lugs, Once the through bolt is removed.
Good luck, Bill.

Yep, Just put a piece of strong bar in each tube and bend until it all aligns again. Common on bikes where the rear suspension has bottomed for whatever reason.
