Ex Vincent employee

Another server do to Mrs, Leggetts Tea, John Griffiths 90, Lives in Los Vegas and will traveling up to LA next week to meet another VOC member,John did quite a lot of racing in the 1950s including racing the Works Black Flash, at the moment he is designing a ultra modern braking system for motorcycles (more details next month on this)

In the early 1950 John was Ted Davies passenger in the ex Sutees Norton outfit when Ted first started sidecar racing

Yesterday my sister in law was in a market near Stevenage her surname is Bowen, a lady said do you know David. I phoned the Lady she was a sketcher in the Vincent drawing office, her husband passed away last year he worked in the service dept. he use to rebuild Girdraulic, there transport in those days was very upmarket a AC Greyhound, so Vincent workers are still out there. Mrs Leggetts canteen tea must have been good.

Christine, the Lady in question, just sent me a email to say she has a few items from Vincent days and is sending them to my UK address. I will be in the UK in September will let you know what they are.
