As promised, some more photos, although Tim seems to have taken more than me, well he did get quite excited about the whole project.
No welded mods Oldhaven the inner c/case tab as you call it is a link plate that is crank shape but cut from solid alloy. The F106 is an F106/1 for G.F. It's a completely different casting .
Trevor, thanks for the info on Allan Screws / Bolts they seemed to be a new thing when I started in H.M.D. Devonport.

What kind of ignition is used? Or are there twin sprockets used so that there is a chain drive to a standard magneto?

Apart from the weight saving, is there any real benefit........?.........How do you adjust the chain tension, or is it just fixed.
