Removing adaptor from industrial engine

Does anyone have any idea how this adaptor is removed please?

I have no idea. But I wonder if you start by undoing the 4 x slotted cheesehead screws (you'll need to fabricate a "wonky screwdriver") things might become clearer????

Looking at the diameter of the shafts in the 4th picture from the left above it seems that the lefthand end is smaller than the righthand end.if the pin was drilled/punched out maybe the shaft with the collar on would slide off..
