Hi out there,
I was puzzeling How to put cams on the wheels as the descriptions in the old scribblings are not complete (well at least to my opinion)
you need some normal workshop tools:
normal 0-25 mm micrometer
2 hardend pins of 3 mm L = 25
a plate and some other parts as per drawing.
a set of gauge blocks
press
With this set up I have had a timing accuracy within 1 degree on the front and rear CAM (measured with only the innner springs fitted) on Megacyle cams
All of you seen my Rapide at Wagrain or German Rally have seen its runs well (apart for a somewhat rich carb setting)
Now how do I upload within this tread?? Ha- Found!- Ok Photos of 1 mb works except for the drawing pdf as the file of 0,1 MB is to big according to Colditz, I will convert into a Photo, haha it Works.
regards
Vincent Brake Speet
let me know if it works for you?
