Carl, Just a 15 w 40 diesel oil.......I use Penrite which is an Aussie brand, but any good modern oil should be fine.......regular oil changes are best over worrying about brands and oil specifics......It does not matter a pinch of shit thinking the oil will save cams and followers.......Its the hardness and finish of these that determine if they will survive, not the oil used.

I surely agree with the hardness issue, but was wondering what you prefer. I think we have Penrite here in the
states, but not widely available. I may well switch to a 15-40 myself, for easier kicking if nothing else. Thanks.
