Vincent was looking for a list of the crankcase stud lengths and I was able to provide a table of sizes that Phil Primmer had drawn up.

Vincent has now incorporated these into a revised MO41 - unofficially MO41/A

No, although I know he had owned at least one Comet he got his Shadow on the road in about 1973, M reg until Gordon Powell helped him get an age related plate. From that time on he was a dedicated twin sidecarist. I think his last Comet bits were sold in about 1980.
The twin stud length table was done in 2009.

When all this excitement is over I’ll check the stud part numbers on MO41 against the parts list to see if any of these studs are used on Comets.

Merry Christmas

Indeed, Ian gave me the popular sizes and I -with help from Google- translated them in to the engineering and Metric numbers, Then Mr. Paint in my PC put them into MO14a, wunderbar!
I was about to post it, but thanks for posting !

Hi Vincent, Perhaps the next time that you are in paint, you would like to correct the part number for the Magneto Cowl Tab, shown as part of diagram A, from ET168 to ET186? It is referenced in 3 places on the page.
