Fire and devastation

Because this is Australia. Over the last four days some rain has fallen where it has been needed. Over 250mm in far Northern NSW and SE Qld (way too much). A lesser but goodly amount elsewhere. Some fires have been extinguished but there are still many others still burning. Life will never be the same for many towns and villages. It has been reported that several species of mammals are now extinct. A massive number of bees have died which will have a massive effect on re-growth of flora. Some roads will be closed for years due to burnt bridges. Like the death of a family member, this tragedy has years to play out.
