I live in the middle of an earthquake zone, so no machinery on the second floor!

Aside from the bolt alignment on those headstock/oil tank assemblies, I wonder how many (including ones never disassembled) are running around bent and or cockeyed.

I think there are a few FT1/4's that are not bent, but I have never found one. The six I checked were all bent. I took this as good news because few owners seem to have a problem. I have seen an FT1/1 (the rounded tube with and outside grip) that was bent. I thought that was very difficult to do. I have not seen a bent FT1/2 or 3 (the rectangular tube with the outside grip) that is bent.

Those 5/16" holes were reamed by the Factory, so they tried their best to keep the fit tight through the headstock.
