I see the VOC Spares Co sells item T28/1, a plunger with a Viton seal instead of cork. Is the Viton seal itself available separately, from any source?

Seems like there was a thread with negative comments on the viton. I searched 'ewarts' and saw there were a few threads that might have something of interest.

Viton is absolutely uneffected by oil or modern fuel, so why ? That modern spare would not be my idea, don´t see much scope for elastic sealing , I´d use one or two o-rings from Viton and chamfer the holes in the tap for protecting the o-rings from cuts. I´d think you´d have less friction by o-rings as well.

Yeah, I have those now, and thought I had them to the point where they would seal, but still slide open/close without too much effort. When I tried to open them the other day, after a period of non-use, I now have to pry them open. I am looking for other options, that hopefully do not require as much custom fitting.
