Two Vincents Stolen!

What a tragedy, clearly built by a perfectionist, it just looks so purposeful, I would like to more photos from different aspects, but in the circumstances I doubt that will be possible, and like Harvey Bowdens Rapide stolen at the annual rally at Fordingbridge, and all the others that have been stolen, what is their fate, they clearly can never be sold on the open market, or even privately used, so I suppose along the way unidentifiable parts will filter onto the market. It is all so sad for Stephen, really hope the bikes turn up but do not hold out to much hope.

The way to go is to have hidden personal numbers marked in to parts on the bike making them harder to sell or use on another bike and also take detailed photos and notes of the bike and registered the bike with the club all details including casting numbers.

This guy actually called me yesterday evening, and has taken the decision to publicise it far and wide.

Who knows what the best thing to do is?

He said that another couple of sheds were 'done' in his road, and they must've stumbled across his bikes by accident. If that is the case, it doesn't look like they've been 'stolen to order', and I guess that could be a good thing?

At work we had 11 sports bikes stolen in 2015 plus all our tyre and clothing stocks! Although I'm not a Facebook user, we circulated the details of the stolen bikes on the company page and within a few days they had been shared with over 20,000 people. It didn't get the bikes back but would have made them harder to sell!

39 lashes was light by Royal Navy standards 200 years ago.
It's starting point for discussion. :D Though ancient Hebrew law limits the number of lashes to 40 and usually stopped at 39 lest the administrator of the lashes mis-count and exceed the legal limit and break the law himself.
