I have series A Comet Special. 11 Sept 1936 built by Ted Hampshire and road tested by Brown and Swain. TTC 105 and frame D1200.
I have owned it a few years now.

You rode it round the field at either Caddington or Walkern.

Ah! Now that puts it all in to perspective! (It was Caddington by the way - and the sound was music to the ears - no silencer!). Mark, you have one of the most interesting TTCs given that it is totally unrestored and in very original condition - albeit with a few bits missing. Don't be shy, you should post some pics, I am sure others would find it really useful and informative. I have plenty of pics of it!

Or have you set about restoring it now?

Hi Peter. It belongs to me, no names mentioned (female) but not Mark. You rode it round the field as you managed to start it.
Definitely not being restored.
I have owned it from 1980 and am the second owner.
