Misc: Everything Else Reducing the height of a twin seat

I have the same problem and keep looking at a swoopy BSA twin seat with wrecked upholstery I have doing nothing, I could alter that to fit losing another 1.5", alright the tooltray would have to go.
The next problem I can see is the footrests (twin) already feel too high with my thinned down extended seat for my stiffening joints.
My late father fitted lower foot rest by making new hangers you can tell when you get close to the bike and a gear change lever to suit and they are still on the bike ands he also fitted triumph handle bars as well to be able to ride the bike in comfort.

I've been thinking of making a pair of longer hangers, I also have wider bars (29") with another 10 degrees of bend (my wrists were twisting sideways operating the levers), much more comfortable, but then I am around 2 feet across the shoulders.

Yes I have had to raise my foot is the past as the foot rest touch the black stuff on the odd roundabout but that in the extreme end of cornering and I do it a rigid triumph twin as well.
