Petrol Consumption

Back in the day my friends were getting around 45/50mpg out of theirs.
My poor, much sneered at, (wen'r'u goin'ter buy the other 'arf?), Comet daily transport was giving me 70/73mpg.
On one occasion when gingerly running in a new piston it rewarded me with 85mpg.
When you are on 3/6d an hour you keep a careful check on such things . . .

You have a point there, regular gas in my area is 46p/litre.

Cheapest where I live is equivalent to $1.675 a litre.

I never worry about the price of water either its just something you gotta have, and since discovering that esso top grade is ethanol free its a cheap option when the' rot saving' is costed in
